Do I have to be home on my house cleaning day?
No. We have two options to choose from so your cleaner has entry into your home.
1) You can leave a door code with the company to give to your cleaner on your house cleaning day.
2) You can leave a key hidden somewhere on the property. We do not recommend this method. When you choose this method and leave your home unsecured you release Future Maids and its housekeepers from all liability that could arise.
How many housekeepers will arrive?
One housekeeper is assigned. Our company is built like a personalized service. Should you hire our company for recurring service the same housekeeper is dispatched for your recurring visits. So, long as that person remains with our company. Our goal is to allow your dedicated housekeeper to learn your home and the way you like your home cleaned. This will maintain consistency. For any reason if your unsatisfied with the performance of the housekeeper, give us a call and we will send a different person until we find the right fit for you and your home.
Do I need to clean before my housekeeper arrives?
No. It is to the client’s advantage to have the home picked up as much as possible allowing us to be able to get to all areas so that we can optimize your cleaning. We also provide light straightening of the areas that we clean. Should we have to pick up prior to being able to clean, we charge $45/hour with a minimum of 1 hour unless you let us know to clean around or skip that area.
Will you bring your own cleaning products?
Yes, our housekeepers will provide all the cleaning equipment needed to complete your home. Should you have a special request or a product you would like used, we ask that you have the product available for your housekeeper on your house cleaning day.
What if I would like to tip my housekeeper?
Tipping is not required or even expected. However, should you like to leave a tip for your housekeeper it is very much appreciated and can be given directly to your housekeeper in person or by calling the office and have it added onto your invoice.
I have pets.
Wonderful. We are a pet friendly company. You know your pet better than anyone. We ask that your pet remain in a secured area on your house cleaning day to protect him or her. Should your pet escape while we are trying to enter or leave your home Future Maids nor any of its housekeepers will be held responsible for your pet.
Failure to secure your pet and should your pet show any type of aggression and we are forced to leave or are not able to clean at all, you will be charged $100 lock out fee for that visit. No refunds or re-clean will be given.
I have an alarm system:
Wonderful, we will just need our own personalize code. This will ensure we are able to leave your home secure when we leave.
I would like to leave a key with your company for future visits.
Unfortunately, we are unable to keep a copy of your house key in our possession. We suggest that you purchase a lock box to leave outside on your house cleaning day with a code for us to secure your home.
I have some very valuables and sentimental items?
Please advise us of the item or items that should not be touched prior to your cleaning. We do not clean computer or TV screens as a service limitation. Should you decide that you would like us to clean items within a curio cabinet, monetary or sentimental value, the following release of liability shall be in effect: Client hereby releases Future Maids and its housekeepers from all liability arising out of cleaning valuable items. Client understands that he/she is completely responsible for repairing or replacing any damaged item or items even if we may have caused the need for repair or replacement.

One time or recurring clients:
We pride ourselves in giving superior service to our clients. We go above and beyond to make sure you are completely satisfied with your house cleaning service. If you are dissatisfied with your cleaning for any reason, please contact us within 24 hours of your cleaning and we will return to re-clean the area/areas you are dissatisfied with at no additional cost to you.
Hourly Residential Clients:
Please understand when you hire us for a certain amount of time, we may not be able to complete all the task that you wished to be completed we make no guarantee. You may add additional time to allow us the time to complete all the task that you wish. Our hourly rate is $45+tax/hour per person with a 3-hour minimum. We bill in 30-minute increments after the first 3 hours.
New and Post Construction hourly cleaning:
We are unable to give an exact quote on most new and post construction cleaning jobs. Our fee is $150.00+tax to show up and that will cover the first 3-hours. After the 3-hours has expired our hourly rate is $45+tax/ hour per person. Billed in 30-minute increments.
Skipped Cleaning and Cancellations:
As a regular cleaning client, a part of what you pay for is a consistent spot on our schedule. Having a consistent spot ensures that you receive a discounted rate. Any gaps in regular service will increase your rate if additional time is needed to bring your home back to maintenance level.
In the event you need to cancel or reschedule your cleaning service, please give us at least a 24-hour notice. Please consider our scheduling/preparations and that we are reserving a time slot for your cleaning. A $50.00 fee will be applied to all accounts that are not canceled or rescheduled at least 24-hours before your scheduled house cleaning day. The card on file will be charged.
Lock out fee:
When we arrive on your scheduled day and time and are unable to gain access to the property a $100.00 fee will be applied. The card on file will be charged. We will attempt to reach you by phone, text and email. We will wait for up to 10 minutes before leaving.
When you schedule an appointment with Future Maids you agree that your home will have running water and electricity. We can not work without proper utilities. Should we arrive and the home or facility is without running water or electricity we will not be able to clean and you will be charged $100.00. We will consider this the same as being locked out.
We reserve the right to adjust client’s rates at any time. You will be notified prior to any price increases.
Payments for services
Our terms and conditions are provided as a guide of what is expected of our clients. Payment for house cleaning or office cleaning services are due in full at the time of service. Your card on file will be charged once we have arrived on your property and sometimes after the service has been rendered.
We do not offer refunds on any service. We do offer a 24-hour guarantee for any reason you are unhappy with your cleaning we will return and re-clean the area(s) that you are not satisfied with.
Hourly clients do not have the 24-hour guarantee as we are working by the hour. We will gladly return and continue working at our regular hourly rate.
When we try to process the card on file and are unsuccessful due to a declined card, a $10.00 late fee will automatically be applied. We will then notify you to update the card on file.
WE DO NOT ACCEPT CASH OR CHECKS
In the event we have to file any type of suit against you to obtain payment you (the client) will be responsible for all legal fees, including attorney fees, filing fees, travel fees and any other fees associated with attempting to collect a debt
Solicitation of our Housekeeper(s) / Maid(s)
When entering into an agreement for services with us, you agree not to solicit for hire any of our housekeepers / Maids introduced to you by us for any home cleaning-related services. If you are found to have solicited one of our housekeepers / Maids, please be advised that our referral fee is $5,000 each and payable to the company; Future Maids Cleaning Service, LLC immediately upon employing our housekeeper(s) / Maid(s) for any services to your home or business.
Occasionally we like to take before and after photos of your home. Photos may be publicized on our website and or social media. Photos will be focused on the room. Should we use photos of your home, we will at no point use photos of any person living in the home or photo anything that could identify the home. We do respect your right to privacy.
We photo any damage we may find or cause, this is required by our insurance to process a claim. Should we notice damage we photo the item(s) and immediately notify you. These photos are never used for website or social media as sometimes they are sensitive and invasive to your privacy. Photos of this nature will only be shared with our Insurance Company and their affiliates in order to process a claim.
